We’re really happy you’re here — scrolling, browsing, and (hopefully) falling a little in love with our shoes.

Before you go any further, there’s a small but important part we need to cover: our Terms & Conditions.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to what’s written below. We’ve done our best to keep it clear, human, and fair — just like everything else we do.

From time to time, we may update these Terms. The latest version will always be available on this page.

2. Using our Website

By using our website, you confirm that you are of legal age in your country (or have permission from a guardian), and that you’ll use it responsibly.

This means no misuse, no illegal activity, and no attempts to interfere with how the site works.

We reserve the right to refuse service if something doesn’t feel right — rare, but necessary.


3. Our Model: Made-to-Order

TUAS shoes are made to order.

This means your pair is only produced after your purchase. Because of this, timelines may vary depending on production and suppliers.

We don’t rush what is made with intention. If something isn’t up to our standards, we may take a little longer to get it right.

If that happens, we will always communicate transparently.


    4. Commercial Policy

    Our products are sold exclusively through tuas-studio.com for personal use.

    If you are purchasing for resale or business purposes, please contact us first.

    We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders that appear to be for resale.


    5. Placing an Order

    When placing an order, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including your shipping details.

    You are responsible for ensuring this information is correct. We are not responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete details, or failure to collect the order.

    After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email. This email does not yet mean your order has been accepted.


    6. Order Acceptance

    Your order is only considered accepted once:

    • payment has been successfully processed

    • and the order has been validated by TUAS

    We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including after confirmation, in cases such as:

    • errors in pricing or product information

    • payment or billing issues

    • suspected fraud or misuse

    • production or supplier constraints

    • delivery not being possible

    If your order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.


    7. Prices & Payments

    All prices are in euros (€) and include applicable taxes. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

    We accept major payment methods including card payments, PayPal, MBWay, and Klarna.

    While we aim for accuracy, errors may occasionally occur. In case of a clear pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.


    8. Shipping and Delivery

    Because each pair is made to order, delivery takes time. Estimated timelines are shared at checkout, typically between 3-4 weeks. These timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

    Once your order is shipped, responsibility passes to the carrier. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs, or other external factors.

    UK and Switzerland orders may be subject to customs duties, which are not covered by TUAS.

    Because each pair is made to order, production timelines may occasionally extend beyond the estimated delivery window. If your order has not been shipped within 30 days from the date of purchase, you may request to cancel your order and receive a full refund.

    We will always communicate transparently throughout the process.


    9. Returns, Exchanges and Trying at Home

    We understand that buying shoes online can feel uncertain.

    You may try your TUAS at home — we simply ask that they are tried on a soft surface and kept in perfect condition.

    Returns can be requested within 15 days of receiving your order. Items must be unworn, undamaged, and returned with original packaging.

    Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless stated otherwise.


    10. Right of Withdrawal (EU)

    Under EU law, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase.

    However, by placing an order, you acknowledge that TUAS products are made-to-order and may not be eligible for withdrawal under applicable consumer protection laws.

    If a return is accepted, items must be returned unused and in original condition.

    Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the return or proof of shipment.


    11. Warranty

    All TUAS products are covered by a 2-year legal warranty under EU law.

    We are not responsible for damage resulting from improper use, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow care instructions.

    12. Intellectual Property

    All content on this website, including images, text, branding, and design, belongs to TUAS. It may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.


    13. Website Availability

    We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Use of the website is at your own risk.


    14. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, TUAS shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, delays outside our control, or losses resulting from misuse of our products or website.

    We always aim to act in good faith and resolve issues fairly.


    15. Force Majeure

    We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our control, including supplier delays, production issues, transport disruptions, strikes, pandemics, or natural events.

    This is part of working with things that are made, not mass-produced.


    16. Fraud & Misuse

    We reserve the right to cancel orders or block users in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or misuse of the website.

    Legal action may be taken where necessary.


    17. Indemnification

    By using this website, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TUAS from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the website or breach of these Terms.


    18. Data & Security

    Your data is handled securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

    While we use trusted systems, no online environment is ever completely risk-free.


    19. Dispute Resolution

    If something doesn’t feel right, please contact us first at hello@tuas-studio.com.

    If needed, you may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform or local arbitration centres.


    20. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.

    Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Portugal.


    21. Entire Agreement

    These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TUAS regarding the use of the website and replace any previous agreements or communications.


    22. Severability

    If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
